Galatians 2

Okay kiddo, today we're going to talk about a book in the Bible called Galatians, and specifically chapter 2. The book of Galatians is a letter that a man named Paul wrote to a group of people who lived in an area called Galatia.

In chapter 2, Paul is talking about a time when he went to visit the leaders of the church in Jerusalem. He wanted to make sure that they all agreed on what they were teaching about Jesus.

Some people in the church were saying that in order to become a Christian, you had to follow certain rules and traditions from the Jewish religion. But Paul disagreed with this. He believed that anyone, no matter what their background or race, could become a Christian simply by believing in Jesus and accepting him into their life.

So Paul went to Jerusalem to meet with the other church leaders and talk to them about this. And you know what? They agreed with him! They realized that it's not about following rules or traditions, but about having faith in Jesus.

So that's what Paul is talking about in Galatians 2. He's saying that the leaders of the church in Jerusalem agreed with him, and that they all preached the same message about Jesus, which is that anyone can become a Christian by believing in him. And that's still true today! It doesn't matter where you come from or what you've done, anyone can become a Christian by putting their trust in Jesus.
