General revelation

Okay kiddo, have you ever looked at the sky and seen the beautiful colors during sunrise or sunset? Or have you ever explored nature and seen all the plants and animals living together? These are examples of things that can help us understand more about God and the world we live in.

When we talk about general revelation, we mean that God can be heard and seen through the things he created. This includes things like natural wonders, like oceans and mountains, as well as the rhythms and patterns of nature.

But, it's important to remember that while general revelation can be helpful in understanding God and the world, it's not enough on its own. We also need specific revelation, which comes from things like reading the Bible, prayer and worship, and church community.

So, just like we can learn from the world around us, we also need special guidance from God to help us understand him and our place in the world.
