ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Genotype

Genotype is like an instruction manual for everything that makes us who we are. It's like a blueprint inside every cell in our body that gives us instructions on how our bodies should look, act, and function. Genotype is made up of our genes, which are like little codes that tell us what skin color we should have, how tall we should be, and other things about us. They tell our bodies how to work and what traits to pass on to our children.
