ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

German Bight

Oh, hello there! So, I'm going to try and explain something called the German Bight to you. The German Bight is a really big part of the North Sea that is next to Germany.

See, the Earth is covered in something called water, and some of that water is called the North Sea. In the North Sea, there is a big area that goes in and out, kind of like a curve. That's the German Bight.

Now, because the German Bight is next to Germany, it's important for a lot of things. For example, some people go there to fish for yummy seafood to eat. Other people use the German Bight to help ships get where they need to go safely.

The German Bight can change a lot depending on the time of year and if it's a sunny day or a rainy day. But no matter what, it's always there, curving around and being an important part of the North Sea.
