When we look at bright things, like the sun or a light bulb, it can hurt our eyes and make it hard for us to see clearly. This is called glare. Imagine if you were trying to play on a sunny day, but the sun was shining right in your eyes. You wouldn't be able to see the ball very well, would you?
The same thing can happen when we're driving and the sun is in our eyes. It can make it hard to see the road and other cars. We can also get glare from things like computer screens, reflections in windows, or bright lights at night.
To avoid glare, we can wear sunglasses with special lenses that help block out the bright light. We can also adjust the brightness of our computer screens or use a hood to block out reflections. And when we're driving, we can use our sun visor or wear a hat to shade our eyes from the sun.
