Gonadotropin-releasing hormone insensitivity

Okay kiddo, there is something called gonadotropin-releasing hormone. It's a special hormone that helps our body make other important hormones that help us grow and develop properly.

Sometimes, though, our body doesn't react correctly to this hormone. That means even if there's enough of it in our body, it can't do its job properly. This is called gonadotropin-releasing hormone insensitivity.

This can cause lots of problems with our growth and development, especially when it comes to our reproductive system. That's because the hormones that gonadotropin-releasing hormone helps make are important for puberty and making babies later in life.

Doctors can sometimes help people with this problem by giving them medicine or other treatments that help their body react to gonadotropin-releasing hormone properly. But it can be a complicated issue, and it's different for everyone.
