The eurozone is a group of 19 European countries that have agreed to use the same kind of money called the euro. Every country in the eurozone uses the euro for all of their money transactions. Greece was a part of the eurozone, but in 2015 they decided to leave because it was too expensive for them to stay in. Greece needed to make big changes to their economy, but the other countries in the eurozone didn't want to help. Without that help, Greece couldn't keep using the euro, so they decided to leave the eurozone and use their own money. Now, instead of using euros, people in Greece use a different kind of money called the drachma.
