Hainuwele

Hainuwele is a story from Indonesia about a magical girl who came from a coconut tree! She was a really special girl because she could give anything she touched magic powers. People loved her because she could give them food and help them with their problems.

But one day, some mean guys wanted to use Hainuwele for their own selfish reasons. They killed her and cut her up into little pieces. But then something amazing happened. Every piece of Hainuwele turned into a different crop, like yams and sugarcane!
