Hardware abstraction

Hardware Abstraction is a way of making it easier for people to use different kinds of computer hardware. It works by creating a layer between the way you use a computer, and the physical parts that make up the computer. The layer hides all the confusing stuff that the computer normally does, so it becomes simple and easy to use. For example, if you are using a laptop, you don't need to understand which chips are inside the laptop, or how they all fit together. All you need to know is how to use the laptop, like how to open a document or start a game.
