Harvest festival

Harvest festival is a special time of year when we celebrate all the yummy fruits and vegetables that have grown throughout the year. You know how we eat apples, oranges, carrots, and other things? Those are all fruits and vegetables that grow on big plants in fields outside.

The farmers work really hard all year to make sure they take good care of these plants so they grow big and strong. They make sure the plants have enough water and sunlight, and they protect them from bugs and other things that might try to eat them.

When it's time to pick the fruits and vegetables, the farmers gather them all up and bring them to a special celebration called the harvest festival. At the festival, people get together to share and give thanks for all the good food that has been grown throughout the year.

People usually decorate the festival with colorful flowers and other pretty things, and they sing happy songs and dance together. They also eat lots of yummy foods made from the fruits and vegetables that were grown during the year, like pumpkin pie, apple cider, and other treats.

So, the harvest festival is a time to celebrate and be grateful for all the hard work that goes into growing the delicious food we eat every day. It's a time to enjoy and appreciate the fruits of the farmers' labor, and to have fun with friends and family.
