Herrenvolk democracy

Herrenvolk democracy is a kind of government where only some people are allowed to vote and make decisions. The word "Herrenvolk" is German for "ruler people," so this kind of democracy is when only certain people have the power to decide things for the whole country. These people might be from a certain religion, race, or class, and usually don't include everyone who lives in the country. This kind of government also usually only allows certain people to run for office, and take advantage of laws and rights that the rest of the population doesn't have.
