History of tanks

Tanks were invented in World War I to help soldiers move around the battlefield faster and safer. Before tanks, soldiers used to charge across the field on foot and many of them were hurt or died from enemy fire.

Tanks are big and strong armored vehicles that can drive over lots of things like rocks and mud without getting stuck. They have big guns and can shoot far distances. They also have lots of little wheels or tracks on the bottom which make them move around easier.

When tanks were first made, they were slow and not very good at moving around. They also had a lot of problems like getting stuck or breaking down. But over time, they got better and better until the tanks we know today were made.

People around the world started to use tanks in their armies because they were so good at helping soldiers fight in wars. Tanks were used a lot in World War II and the Gulf War, and they continue to be used in wars today.

So, tanks were made to help soldiers move around the battlefield safer and faster, and they are big, strong armored vehicles with big guns and tracks on the bottom. Over time, they got better and better at moving and fighting in wars.
