Human Rights Watch

Human rights are like rules that everyone is supposed to follow to make sure that everyone is treated fairly and with dignity. Human rights watch is an organization that makes sure that these rules are being followed by investigating and reporting on human rights abuses all around the world.

Just like you have rules in your classroom or on the playground, adults have rules too that are supposed to keep everyone safe and treated equally. These rules are called human rights, and they include things like the right to be treated with dignity, the right to speak freely, the right to have enough to eat, and the right to live without fear.

Sometimes, unfortunately, these rules are not followed, and people's human rights are violated. This can happen when people are discriminated against because of their race, gender, religion, or other things that make them different, or when people are treated badly or unfairly by their government, police, or other people in power.

That's where human rights watch comes in. They investigate and report on human rights abuses all over the world, making sure that the people responsible for violating human rights are held accountable.

Human rights watch also advocates for changes in policies and laws to make sure that human rights are protected for everyone. They work to make the world a safer and fairer place for all children, adults, and families.
