Immurement

Okay, so you know how sometimes when you play hide-and-seek, you hide in a small space like a closet or a fort you built out of blankets? Well, immurement is like that, but it's not fun or a game. It's when someone gets trapped inside of a small space, like a room or a tomb or even a wall, and they can't get out. This can happen on purpose, like if someone is trying to punish or hurt another person, or it can happen by accident, like if someone is building a wall and doesn't realize someone is inside. It's a very scary thing to happen and it can be very dangerous because the person trapped inside can run out of air, water, or food and could get really sick or even die. So, it's important to make sure that everyone is safe and not trapped in a small space where they can't get out.
