Inattentional blindness

Inattentional blindness is when you can't see something that's right in front of you because you're not paying attention. Imagine you're playing a game where you have to find something hidden in a room. Even if it's sitting right there in the middle of the room, you won't be able to see it if you're not looking for it! This is a simple example of inattentional blindness.
