Inequality (mathematics)

Inequality in math is when two numbers or groups of numbers are not the same. That means when something is "unequal" it means it's not the same size or value. So when we compare two numbers or two sets of numbers we look to see if they are equal or unequal. For example, if I have 4 apples and you have 8 apples, then that would be unequal because 4 is not the same as 8.
