ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Infill

Infill refers to the material that is filled in between two objects, like filling a sandwich with peanut butter. When we talk about infill in construction or 3D printing, it means filling in the empty space inside an object. Imagine building a wall with bricks - you need to fill in the space between each brick to make the wall stronger and more stable. Infill in 3D printing is done to create more structure and stability to the printed object. So, just like when you put peanut butter in a sandwich to make it more filling and sturdy, infill is the material filling that makes objects stronger and more solid.
