International labour standard

International labour standards are rules that protect the rights of people who work. This includes rules about how much money employers should pay their employees, how many hours the employees can work, and what the safety conditions must be like in the workplace. They are set by a group of countries who agree to follow them. The standards make sure that people in different countries around the world get the same basic rights while they work.
