Internet manipulation

Internet manipulation is when someone uses the internet to try to control a conversation or situation. They do this by posting false or misleading information, or by trying to make someone else look bad in the eyes of others. For example, they might post a message on a website that tries to make someone look bad, or they might spread lies about a person in an online forum. The goal is to make people think a certain way about a topic or about someone. They might also try to influence how people vote in an election or persuade other people to do things that they otherwise wouldn't do.
