ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Isaiah 30

Okay kiddo, today we're going to talk about a part of the Bible called Isaiah 30. It's a very interesting story with some important lessons.

So, in this story, a group of people are not trusting in God and are instead going to other countries for help. This makes God very sad because he wants us to trust in him and not be afraid.

God sends a prophet named Isaiah to tell the people to come back to him and trust in him instead of other countries. Isaiah tells the people that if they trust in God, everything will be okay and they will be safe.

But the people still don't listen and continue to put their trust in other countries. This makes God very angry because he wants them to trust in him and be safe.

Finally, the people start to realize that they were wrong and they turn back to God. When they do this, God forgives them and helps them to be safe and happy.

The lesson of this story is that we should always trust in God and not be afraid. We should put our faith in him and he will always take care of us. It's important to remember that even when things seem scary or uncertain, God is always with us and we can trust in him.
