Israel and state-sponsored terrorism

Israel is a country in the Middle East. Just like lots of other countries, it has a government which makes all the important decisions. State-sponsored terrorism is a type of bad thing that some governments do – that is, when a government supports people or groups to do dangerous and harmful things in order to get what they want. Most people agree that it's wrong to do this, and that governments should instead try to solve their problems without using violence. The Israeli government has never been accused of supporting state-sponsored terrorism, so it's not something that is happening in Israel.
