Judges 16

Alright kiddo, are you ready to hear a story? This is a story from the Bible about a man named Samson. Now Samson was a really strong guy, like a superhero! He had really long hair and it gave him his power.

One day, Samson met a woman named Delilah and they fell in love. But there was a problem, Delilah was working for Samson's enemies. They wanted to know the secret of Samson's strength so they could hurt him. Delilah kept asking Samson to tell her his secret, but he wouldn't. She asked him three times but he kept telling her lies. Finally, Samson trusted Delilah and told her that his strength came from his long hair.

Delilah told Samson's enemies the secret and while he was sleeping they cut off his hair! Without his hair, Samson was weak and helpless. His enemies captured him and blinded him by gouging out his eyes. They made him a slave and put him in jail.

However, Samson's hair started growing back and he asked God for strength one last time. One day, his enemies held a big party to celebrate their victory over Samson. They brought him out to make fun of him, but Samson was now strong again. He pushed the pillars of the building and it collapsed, killing all of Samson's enemies, including himself.

So, the lesson we can learn from Judges 16 is that it's important not to trust people who might want to hurt us. And most importantly, we should always trust in God to give us strength and protection.
