The Kiel Mutiny was a big event in 1918. It happened during World War One when a group of sailors in Kiel, Germany refused to follow orders. They didn't want to be sent out to fight any more, and instead wanted to end the war. So they started a big protest. The people in charge were very angry, and some of the sailors were arrested or punished in other ways. But the protest helped spread the idea that people wanted to end the war, and this eventually lead to Germany signing a peace treaty in late 1918.
