Killer ape theory

The killer ape theory is a thought that long ago, apes were hostile and violent towards one another. Scientists think that apes that were good at fighting survived and had more babies while the weaker apes died out. This resulted in apes with stronger muscles and skeletons, so they could fight better.

People also have similar bones and muscles, so some scientists think that humans evolved in the same way as apes. They think that humans started to become more violent and aggressive because it helped them survive and protect their families.

However, not all scientists agree with this theory. Some think that humans evolved to be more peaceful and social because those who cooperated with each other had a better chance of surviving. Regardless, the killer ape theory has become popular because it tries to explain why humans are violent and why violence exists in our society.
