Labelling

Labelling is putting words on something so that you know what it is. It is kind of like giving something a name. For example, you might put a label on a box of milk that says "Milk" so that you know what is inside the box. Labels can tell you a lot of other information too, like the date that it was made, or what company it is from. Labels help us to identify things and keep track of them.
