Lancashire hotpot

Lancashire hotpot is a yummy dish that comes from a place called Lancashire in England. It's made by filling a dish with some meat, usually lamb or beef, and some yummy vegetables like carrots, onions, and potatoes. Then, it's all covered up with a big blanket of sliced potatoes.

The people who cook this dish are very careful to make sure that the potatoes are sliced thin and layered just right so that they get all soft and yum on the inside, while getting all crispy and brown on the top.

Once the whole thing is cooked, it comes out of the oven smelling amazing and looking like a big, steaming pie. People often gather around the hotpot, scooping out big spoonfuls of it onto their plates and digging in. It's a perfect comfort food for a cold day or anytime you just want something warm and delicious.
