For example, the Western Wall is a holy place for Jews, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is a holy place for Christians, and the Dome of the Rock is a holy place for Muslims.

People have been fighting over the Land of Israel for a very long time. Even though different groups of people have lived there over the years, the Jewish people have been there the longest.

Some people think that the Land of Israel should only be for the Jewish people. Other people think that everyone should be able to live there peacefully. That's why there's still a lot of conflict and tension in the region today.
