Lapsus

A lapsus is when you accidentally say or write the wrong word or phrase, even though you meant to say or write something else. It's like when you're playing a game of "telephone" and the message gets mixed up along the way! Do you know how sometimes you might be thinking of one thing, but when you try to say it, a different word comes out? Or maybe you're writing a story and you meant to write "cat," but you accidentally wrote "bat!" That's a lapsus. It happens to everyone sometimes and it's nothing to worry about.
