Levellers

Levellers were a group of people in England during the 1600s who wanted everyone to have the same rights and freedoms. They wanted everyone to have the same amount of money and to be able to use the same laws. They also wanted all people to be equal, which meant equal respect for everyone, no matter how much money they had or what their social status was. The Levellers were not in favor of strong government rulers and wanted to make sure that people had a voice in what their government did.
