Lightning prediction system

Have you ever seen a big bright flash in the sky during a storm? That's called lightning! Lightning is a really powerful and sometimes dangerous thing. So, people came up with ways to predict when and where it might happen so we can stay safe.

A lightning prediction system is a tool that helps us know where lightning might occur. It works by using special sensors that can detect things like changes in the air, temperature, and electricity. These sensors are placed in different places, like on top of buildings, on poles, or underground.

When a storm is coming, the sensors start to pick up on these changes in the air and electricity. The sensors will then send all of this information to a computer. The computer will then take all of this information and use special math to figure out where the lightning might hit.

This helps people stay safe by giving them a warning before it happens. They can then go inside or avoid certain places where the lightning might hit. This is really important because lightning can be dangerous and can hurt people, animals, and even buildings.

So, a lightning prediction system is like a big computer that helps us know where lightning might happen so we can stay safe.
