Linear particle accelerator

A linear particle accelerator is a machine that makes tiny particles, like atoms, move really fast. It uses magnets and electric fields to push the particles and make them go faster. Inside the linear particle accelerator the particles move in a line, like a straight track. The particles in the accelerator get to speeds that are thousands and millions of times faster than what you can see in everyday life. People use these accelerators to study how particles behave at high speeds.
