Low-energy building

A "low-energy building" is a type of building that uses very little energy to keep people comfortable inside. It's like wearing a warm coat in the winter to stay warm, instead of turning up the heat in your house.

These types of buildings are designed to keep heat inside during the winter and keep it cool inside during the summer, without needing a lot of energy to do so. They may have special materials in the walls, floors, and roof that help to trap heat inside, or they may have special windows and doors that are very good at insulating.

There are also different ways that low-energy buildings can make their own energy, or use energy in a more efficient way. For example, they may have solar panels on the roof that can convert the sun's energy into electricity, or they may use a special type of heating system that uses less energy than a traditional furnace.

Overall, low-energy buildings are good for the environment because they use less energy and produce less pollution. Plus, they can save people money on their energy bills in the long run!
