Luke 17

Luke 17 is a chapter in the Bible. It talks about Jesus healing 10 people who had leprosy, which is a sickness where your skin and parts of your body start to die. Jesus was walking in a town and the people who had leprosy spotted him and called out to him for help. Jesus then said the words, “Go and show yourselves to the priests”.

The priests were people in the town who Jesus trusted to know what to do when someone was sick. When the people with leprosy did as Jesus said and went to the priests, they were healed. It was a miracle.

Jesus miracles show us two things: That Jesus loves us and He is powerful. Jesus loves us so much that He wants to help us when we are sick or struggling and He is so powerful that He can fix our problems. It’s an amazing thing that Jesus did for the people with leprosy in Luke 17 and He can do the same for us too.
