Mandaeism

Mandaeism is an ancient religion with roots in the Middle East. It's followers believe in God and his prophet, John the Baptist. They also believe in a guardian angel who watches over and protects them. They follow many of the same rituals as Judaism and Christianity and believe in an afterlife. Mandaeism is often seen as being a bridge between these two other major religions.
