Material flow accounting

Material flow accounting is a way of counting and tracking materials that go in and out of a company. Think of it like a game of looking for hidden things. Material flow accounting helps companies look for things that go in and out, like raw materials, energy, water, or waste. Companies use this information to understand how much of these materials they use or produce, and how they affect the environment. This information can be used to figure out how to reduce the amount of materials used and wasted, and how to save the company money.
