Metallic bonding

Metallic bonding is when different metal atoms stick together to form a big network called a metal. It's like a big family. All of the metal atoms share some of their electrons with each other so that everyone has enough to keep them all held together. This sharing of electrons creates strong forces between the metal atoms, so that the atoms form a really strong bond with each other. This helps the metal be really strong and not break easily.
