Middle-class squeeze

The middle-class squeeze is when it gets harder to be in the middle-class because it costs more money to live. It means that prices go up faster than wages, which means it's harder to make ends meet without adding on more work hours or taking on a second job. That makes it so middle-class people don't have as much money to save and spend, which can be a big problem for the economy.
