Military dictatorship

A military dictatorship is when a group of officers from the military (soldiers, sailor, airmen, marines, etc.) take control of a country and make all the government decisions by themselves instead of having elections and leaders chosen by the people. This means the military leaders have complete power over the people and they can do anything they want. They usually control the media, the economy, and even the rights of the citizens. It's usually not a good thing because the people don't have any say in what goes on in their country and it can lead to a lot of suffering and injustice.
