The mind-body problem is a question about what makes us who we are. It is a question about how our mind (or our thoughts and feelings) are connected to our body (or our physical body). Sometimes people think of the mind and body as two totally different things, but philosophers and scientists have been studying this question for a long time and still don't have a definite answer. Some people think that the mind is separate from the body and that a person's thoughts and feelings are not affected by the body. Others think that the mind and body are connected and that the mind controls the body and the body controls the mind. It is still a mystery that we don't completely understand.
