A mobile operating system is the software that is installed on a mobile device such as a phone or tablet. It is responsible for controlling how the different parts of the device like the camera, internet connection, apps and games, and more, interact with each other. It's like the "brain" of your device as it tells all of the parts what to do and controls how you interact with your device.
