Moral disengagement

Moral disengagement is when you know something isn't right, but it's easier to do it and not think about it. For example, if you saw someone being really mean to someone else and you chose to ignore it and not do anything, that would be a form of moral disengagement. It's like kids playing a game where they pretend that what they’re doing is all part of the game and ignore the fact that it’s not nice. Moral disengagement is when adults do the same thing.
