Muhammara is a yummy red dip that you can eat with bread or vegetables! It's made from red peppers (the kind that are sweet, not spicy), walnuts, bread crumbs, garlic, and some other delicious spices.
First, someone takes the red peppers and roasts them until they get all soft and yummy. Then they take off the skins and chop them up into tiny pieces.
Next, they mix the chopped peppers with some walnuts, which are nutty and crunchy and add a great flavor to the dip. They also mix in some bread crumbs to make it a bit thick and creamy.
To give it a yummy taste, they add a bit of garlic, which is a really small vegetable that kind of looks like a little onion and tastes really strong. They also add some spices like cumin and paprika, which give it a really unique flavor. Lastly, they mix it all together and voila! You have muhammara!
It's a great dip to have at any party or snack time and it's also really healthy because it has lots of vegetables and nuts. Yum!
