Nazism is a type of government that was in control of Germany from 1933 to 1945. It was ruled by a man named Adolf Hitler. Hitler wanted to create a Germany where only people of the same type were allowed to live and work there. He believed that people of a different race, religion or culture didn't belong there. This led to the Holocaust, which was when Hitler and the Nazis killed millions of people, mostly Jews, who were different from them. The Nazis also started World War II by attacking other countries, trying to take over the world. After the war, many of the Nazi leaders were brought to justice and the type of government was removed from power as punishment for their evil actions.
