Negiah

Negiah is a Jewish rule that says that people should not touch members of the opposite sex (unless they are close family members or married to each other). We follow this rule because it helps us show respect for each other and stay away from physical contact that could lead to inappropriate behavior. It also helps us focus on our relationships with God instead of just our relationships with other people.
