Neoplatonism and Christianity

Neoplatonism is a type of philosophy that was popular in the early centuries of the Christian era. It believes that all existence is part of one all-powerful divine force. It's closely related to Christianity because Christianity is also a religion that believes in one all-powerful divine force. Both Neoplatonism and Christianity believe that human beings should strive to be closer to this divine force. In Neoplatonism, this divine force is a perfect, unchanging reality that people can strive for, while in Christianity, it is the person of the Christian God. In both philosophy and religion, this divine force is believed to be the source of all truth and good.
