ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Non-partisan democracy

Non-partisan democracy means that the people who make decisions in the government do not belong to any political party. It's like having a playground with different toys, but everyone is playing together, sharing and making decisions together. It's an agreement that everyone will work towards making the best decisions for everyone without letting their political beliefs influence the way they make decisions. It's important to have a non-partisan democracy because sometimes political parties have different ideas of what's best for people, and it's not fair if only one group of people gets to make the decisions. Non-partisan democracy makes sure that everyone's voice is heard and considered.
