Nuclear engineering

Nuclear engineering is a job about making safe and useful things out of things that can be dangerous. Nuclear engineers figure out how to turn a type of energy called nuclear energy into things that can power our lights, heat our homes, and even make food. They use special machines and tools to make sure nuclear energy stays safe and is used the right way.
