ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Obrogation

Alright kiddo, have you ever heard of the word "obligation"? Well, "obrogation" is kinda similar to it.

So, let's say your mommy or daddy tells you that you have to clean your room. That is your obligation, meaning it's your responsibility or duty to do it.

Now, obrogation is when you have a duty to do something, just like an obligation, but then something changes and you don't have to do it anymore.

For example, if your mommy or daddy says you have to clean your room, but then they later say they changed their mind and will clean it themselves, then your obligation to clean your room is obrogated, meaning it's no longer necessary to do it.

It's just a fancy way of saying that sometimes our duties or responsibilities can change based on new information or decisions.
