Occupational burnout is when you feel tired and exhausted from work or school activities. This can happen if you have too much work to do and spend too much time working, not enough time resting, or if you don't enjoy your job or school enough to keep you interested. Burnout can lead to lower performance, feeling overwhelmed and frustrated, and even physical symptoms. To prevent occupational burnout, it is important to make sure you are taking breaks and getting enough rest, doing activities you enjoy outside of work and/or school, and making sure that you are properly rewarded for the work you do.
