Opposition (politics)

Opposition in politics is like when you are playing with your friends and someone suggests a game, but you don't want to play it. You would say "no, I don't want to play that game." This is similar to what opposition does in politics.

In politics, there are different political parties with different ideas and beliefs. The party that is not in power in the government is called the opposition. They are like the kids who didn't pick the game and don't want to play it.
